Colorado River Basin Team


The Colorado River begins in U.S. State of Colorado, runs through Utah, and then forms the border for Arizona and Nevada, as well as the border between Arizona and California before passing on into Mexico where it forms the border betwen the States of Baja California and Sonora. The Colorado River Basin Team is comprised of 100th Meridain Initiative partners primarily in Utah, Colorado, Nevada, Arizona, and Southern California. This river basin team was created in 2001 but has subsequently recieved much more attention and participation following the arrival of quagga mussels into the lower Colorado River in January 2007.

Next Meeting:

Tentatively scheduled for March 9, 2010 in Grand Junction, Colorado
