South/Central River Basins Team
The South/Central River Basins Team is comprised of 100th Meridian Initiative partners primarily in Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico and Colorado. This river basin team was created in 2009 by joining Kansas's original task force for El Dorado Reservoir with Oklahoma's Zebra Mussel Task Force and inviting members from other areas that include these stakeholders in the Arkansas, Red, Trinity, and Sabine river basins. The first annual meeting has been proposed for spring 2010. MeetingsLast Meeting The last meeting of the South/Central River Basins Team was July 19-20, 2011 in Kansas City, Missouri, beginning 10 am on Tuesday, July 19 and ending about 3 pm on Wednesday, July 20. This was a joint meeting with the Missouri River Basin Team. Details are being explored now. Meeting minutes are now available.
Other Meetings The inaugural meeting of the South/Central River Basins' 100th Meridian Initiative Team was held April 23, 2010 at Eisenhower State Park near Denison, Texas. The meeting was open to all stakeholders and interested parties. An agenda is available.
