Columbia River Basin Interagency Invasive Species Response Plan: Zebra Mussels and Other Dreissenid Species

The current September 2011 version of this document has been signed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service; Columbia River Intertribal Fish Commission; the states of Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington; and the Canadian province of British Columbia. It incorporates a number of minor updates from the prior October 2008 version. The actions described in this plan should be implemented in the event of a zebra or quagga mussel introduction. Revisions to the plan will be posted based on new information and findings from ongoing response exercises. An associated strategy to enhance implementation of this plan, and reports for past exercises, can also be found below. Please send any questions about these documents to paul_heimowitz@fws.gov or stephen_phillips@psmfc.org.
