100th Meridian Initiative
Columbia River Basin Team

Next Meeting:
The next meeting of the 100th Meridian Initiative Columbia River Basin Team is scheduled for Wednesday, June 11.  The meeting will be held in the St. Helens Room at the Portland International Airport Conference Center (for a directions link and a map see below). The meeting will begin at 9:00 am and end at approximately 4:30 pm.

PLEASE REGISTER: If you plan on attending the meeting please email Susan Anderson (Susan_Anderson@psmfc.org) or call (503) 595-3100. Lunch will be provided for registrants.

LODGING:  If you require lodging please contact Susan and she will assist you.

PARKING:  You can park anywhere in the airport parking garage. Please bring your parking ticket into the meeting for validation.

Columbia River Basin Asian Carps Risk Evaluation
Columbia River Basin Interagency Invasive Species Response Plan: Zebra Mussels and Other Dreissenid Species

The 2/6/2008 final working draft of the Columbia River Basin rapid response plan is now available on-line. Both the PDF and Word documents are available. You may find better results printing the Word document. The actions described in this Plan should be implemented in the event of a zebra or quagga mussel introduction. Following review of this draft, the intent is to submit the Plan for signatures.

In addition to the Plan, also on-line are the:

“Columbia River Basin Interagency Invasive Species Rapid Response Plan Exercise: Review and Summary”; and

“Draft Strategy to Enhance Columbia River Basin Interagency Response to Zebra Mussels and Other Dreissenid Species.”
